Dr.Clorinda V. Sanders

FOUNDER & CEO

Dr. Sanders's passion is to help individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, with an overwhelming desire to encourage and empower others. With over twenty years of experience specializing in career and professional development, life skills, and workforce training, she has helped more than 10,000 people enhance their careers. Dr. Sanders has served in the non-profit arena for over twenty years assisting at-risk youth, adults, veterans, disabled, homeless, and previously incarcerated individuals.

 

She has spent the past eleven years working exclusively with individuals returning to society from incarceration. She is also passionate about the empowerment and upbuilding of women-owned small businesses. Her latest research study was "Effective Survival Strategies for Women-owned SMEs after a Natural Disaster," published by ProQuest (2023).
 

Dr. Sanders's diverse background and personal experiences allow her to interact cohesively with clients, business owners, corporate executives, and community leaders. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Phoenix, receiving an Associate in Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HBCU Edward Waters University in Organizational Management. She earned an MBA from Lynn University in Marketing and a Master in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. She recently earned a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University. Dr. Clorinda is a certified human resource professional and member of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). She is a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Certified Career Services Provider. (CSSP) which allows her to provide workforce development services, internationally. In addition to being a 100% woman and minority small business owner, she is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Southern New Hampshire University.

 

Dr. Sanders' passion and dedication are to help underserved people and individuals affected by the justice system. Therefore, The Sanders Network integrates a specialization for employers considering hiring returning citizens and for individuals returning after incarceration. Dr. Sanders has served the community of Duval County in Jacksonville, Florida, for over 20 years, helping individuals enhance their lives and catapult their professional careers.

 

Dr. Sanders has worked for and collaborated with local non-profit organizations in various capacities. Dr. Sanders is the committee chair for SHRM Jacksonville's Career Talk Series, a collaboration between SHRM Jax, CareerSource, and the Jacksonville Urban League that offers workforce development training for professional job seekers. She is also a member of CareerSource's NEFL Advisory Council, The National Society of Leadership Success (NSLS), The Jacksonville Chamber, and The Jacksonville Chamber's Women's Business Center.
